Some Lesser Known Facts About Pawan Kumar
Pawan Kumar belongs to a Maharashtrian family settled in Bengaluru.
He dropped out of his engineering course to pursue his passion for theatre. He initially worked with the Script Peoples Theatre group from August 2002 till March 2003 after which he worked as a freelance consultant.
He started a theatre company named ACTor Company that provided innovative solutions for theatre productions.
In 2006, he winded up the company and moved to Mumbai where he worked as a senior technical consultant at Dell for almost 2 months and as an Executive Producer at Neela Tele Films Private Ltd for almost a year.
He met his wife in the course of the making of the film Panchrangi (2010).

Pawan has a close association with director Yogaraj Bhat. He was the screenwriter of Manasaare (2009) and Pancharangi (2010). He played one of the leading roles in Yogaraj Bhat’s Gaalipata 2 (2022).

He has also directed an episode of the Netflix Hindi web series, Leila (2019) and a Telugu web series Kudi Yedamaithe (2021).
