Parvati Nair was born in Abu Dhabi, however, after her father was transferred to Kenya for 2 years, she shifted to Kerala, India and continued her studies there.

She started modelling at the age of 15.
While she was studying in school and college, she performed in various stage plays.
While in school, she was one of the students who made the Guinness World Record for making the longest painting in the world.
In 2009, she was crowned Miss Karnataka. She wanted to participate in the Miss India contest but her height was one inch short as per the required criteria of the Miss India contest.
She was then selected as the face of Mysore Sandal Soap.
She won the Miss Navy Queen pageant in 2010.
