Omer Shahzad is a Pakistani actor, model, and singer who is known for playing the role of ‘Nawab Sher’ in the Pakistani romantic comedy film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (2018).
He grew up in Karachi, Sindh.
While he was studying in college, Omer went to Arjumand Murad’s agency to study acting. In an interview, while talking about it, he said,

We were eight guys and were given scripts and characters to act out. The recordings would be shown to us later.”
Omer Shahzad started his modelling career in 2011. He was chosen by Vaneeza Ahmed (Vinnie) for Bridal Couture Week. In an interview, while talking about his auditions for the fashion show, he mentioned,

There were 200 boys and girls at the audition and I was one of the eight male models selected. Then I made an appearance in Noor’s morning show on Hum TV.”
After that, he did a fashion photoshoot with fashion coordinator Umer Mushtaq. He became so popular with the photo shoot that he began getting offers from the leading figures in the Pakistani modelling industry.
He has modelled for well-known Pakistani fashion designers such as Deepak Perwani, Sania Maskatiya, HSY, Zainab Chotani, Fahad Hussayn, Deepak and Fahad, and Zaheer Abbas.

In 2013, he appeared in the Pakistani drama serial Adhoori Aurat in which he played the negative role of Umair. The show was broadcast on Geo TV.
Later on, he was seen in TV shows like “Choti Choti Khushiyan” (2014; broadcasted on Geo TV), “Chor Darwazay” (2014; aired on Express TV), “Bahu Begam” (2014; shown on ARY Zindagi), and “Noor Jahan” (2015; broadcasted on Geo TV).
In 2016, Omer Shahzad started acting in films with the Pakistani romantic-comedy film “Teri Meri Love Story,” directed by Jawad Bashir. He played the role of Ramis in the film and earned appreciation from the viewers.

In an interview, Omar disclosed that he had been offered a part in the Bollywood film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” (2016) at one point. However, the role was later given to the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan .
In an interview, when his appearance was compared to that of the Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan , Omer said,

I’m better than him because I’m taller! But I adore Hrithik because he keeps fit even as a model-turned-actor. Somehow actors in Pakistan don’t focus on fitness that much.”
