| Controversy | Allegations of Sexual Assault In September 2024, the Onnukal Police station lodged an FIR against Nivin and five others of being involved in a gang rape incident. The FIR was lodged after the Kerala Police's SIT investigation. The woman, who complained against him to the SIT claimed that Nivin and five others had promised to give her a role in one of their films. She also claimed that she was sexually assaulted by six individuals, including Nivin, in a foreign country. Nivin later refuted the allegations against him in a press conference on 3 September 2024 and said, "I don't know who she is, I have never seen her or spoke to her.
