He began playing cricket when he was young but switched to kabaddi with the encouragement of his family.

Over time, Nitin Rawal developed his skills and started participating in local tournaments in his village. His talent stood out during the Under-14 and Under-17 Kabaddi Championships and caught the eye of national coach J.P. Singh. Impressed by Nitin’s abilities, coach J. P. Singh chose him to join the esteemed SAI (Sports Authority of India) Center in Gandhinagar.
Nitin has also played for RS (Railway Sports Promotion Board), Bihar, Indian Railways, NR (Northern Railway), and ID (Income Tax, Delhi).

He debuted in the fifth season of the Pro Kabaddi League and played till the eighth season in 2020 for the Jaipur Pink Panthers team.
