Nithya Menen is an Indian actress, playback singer, and a dubbing artist.
She was born into a Malayali family in Bangalore.

Nithya was good at dancing and singing in her school and college days. She actively took part in co-curricular activities in her childhood.
At the age of 10, Nithya worked as a child artist in the English film, “The Monkey Who Knew Too Much” (1998).
Nithya wanted to become a journalist since childhood. However, when she was in her final smester, she found it unappealing and decided to make her career in filmmaking.
After graduating in journalism, Nithya enrolled herself in Pune’s Film and Television Institute of India to do a course in cinematography.
When Nithya appeared for the entrance exam of the course, she met the film director, B. V. Nandini Reddy who convinced her to pursue acting.
Nithya made her acting debut in 2001 with the TV serial, “Choti Maa…Ek Anokha Bandhan.”
She made her film debut in 2005 with the Kannada film, “Seven O’ Clock.”
Subsequently, she made her Malayalam film debut with the film, “Akasha Gopuram,” Kannada film debut with the film, “Josh,” Telugu film debut with the film, “Ala Modalaindi,” and Tamil film debut with the film, “Nootrenbadhu.”
Thereafter, she featured in films like “Ishq,” “Ustad Hotel,” “Mersal,” “Awe,” “100 Days of Love,” “Iru Mugan,” “24” and “Praana.”

Her Bollywood debut came in the year 2019 with the film, “Mission Mangal.”
