Some Lesser Known Facts About Nishant Kumar
Nishant Kumar is an Indian engineer who is known for being the only son of Indian politician Nitish Kumar .
During his school days at St. Karen’s in Patna, one of his teachers once hit Nishant badly in the school. As a result, he got a severe lump on his forehead and developed a fever. When Nitish Kumar heard the matter, he became very upset and got Nishant’s name removed from the school.
Later, Nishant Kumar was sent to a boarding school in Mussoorie. However, after a few days when he felt homesick, he was called back to Patna by his mother and was enrolled in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
His mother, Manju Sinha, died of a prolonged illness in 2007. Later, a park in Kankerbagh was named after his mother.

In 2017, during a media conversation, Nishant Kumar shared that he did not want to join politics. He wanted to keep a low profile to live a spiritual life instead. He said,

Nishant Kumar is not as famous as the sons of Bihar’s well-known politicians, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan . He does not appear much in the media and avoids social and political events.
