Niranjana Anoop hails from a strong artistic background. Her mother is a renowned classical dancer in Kochi, Kerela.
Since childhood, Niranjana has been inspired by her mother’s passion for Bharatanatyam dance, which led her inclined towards the arts.
Being good in classical dancing she used to choreograph in her school and college cultural events.
She is a trained Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancer. She learnt classical dance from her mother and renowned Bharatanatyam artist Srikanth Natarajan.

Before moving to film, Niranjana started her career with modelling and commercial ads on TV.
Niranjana Anoop is the niece of veteran film director Ranjith Balakrishnan, who was also the director of her debut Malayalam film Loham (2015).
She got inspiration and guidance from her uncle, which helped her to make her debut in the Tamil Film industry with the film “Yasakhan” (2014).
Some of the popular films in which Niranjana Anoop gave commendable performances are “Puthan Panam” (2017), “C/O Saira Banu” (2017), “Kala Viplavam Pranayam” (2018), and “B. Tech” (2018). These films help her to earn recognition for her acting skills in the Malayalam film industry.
Niranjana’s mother run a renowned classical dancing school named The Punarjani School of Dance in Kochi, Kerela.
Along with her acting in films, Niranjana also works as a classical dancing teacher in her mother’s school. Once in an interview she said, she loved to train her students.

In her debut musical dance drama Govinda Madhava (2018), she played the lead role of Krishna. She was also the choreographer and director of the drama. It was a semiclassical dance drama.
Apart from acting, Niranjana also performs in various cultural events and festivals.
She has a keen interest in martial arts, so she took training in martial arts too.
Niranjana is an avid animal lover, she adopted a cat and two dogs.
She loves to spend quality time with her friends and family.
