Some Lesser Known Facts About Nikita Porwal
Nikita Porwal grew up in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. She was raised by her parents to be a thinker. They always encouraged her to question norms rather than blindly follow them.
When she was in Kindergarten, she participated in a fancy dress competition. While her friends came to the school dressed as Brinjals and Tomatoes, her mother dressed Nikita as Miss India. She won the competition.
Soon, she developed a passion for the stage and started participating in school plays.
While in college, Nikita joined a theatre group and has performed in more than 60 plays. She has portrayed Mata Sita, Radha, and Mohini in plays.
Having a passion for story-telling, Nikita has also written a 250-page play titled Krishna Leela.
At the age of 18, Porwal began her career as a TV anchor.
Her debut film Chambal Paar was screened at the International Film Festival in 2024.
As a model, Nikita has done photoshoots for various fashion and jewellery brands.

She is an avid animal lover and keeps posting pictures with animals on her social media handles. She works towards animal welfare.

In her leisure time, Nikita loves reading, writing, painting, and watching movies.
In 2024, she represented Madhya Pradesh at the Femina Miss India Beauty Pageant that took place on 16 October 2024 at Famous Studios in Mumbai. The pageant welcomed 30 contestants representing each Indian state and one UT competed for the title.
Nikita Porwal emerged as the winner of Femina Miss India and was crowned by Femina Miss India World 2023 winner Nandini Gupta. She was followed by Rekha Pandayy and Ayushi Dholakia as the first and second runners-up respectively.

Nikita would represent India at the Miss World pageant.
When asked about her idol, Nikita said that she looked up to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and said,
She [Aishwarya] embodies the perfect blend of beauty and brains, showcasing a captivating combination of poise, sharp wit, and effortless charm. Her ability to proudly celebrate her Indian heritage while embracing modernity with ease is truly admirable, making her a shining example of a woman who embodies both grace and substance.”
Nikita also shared that it was her dream to work with the Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali .
Talking about the craziest rumour that she had heard about herself was that she was into girls as she had a close friendship with Saloni.
When asked, what would she do with the prize money, if she won the beauty Pageant, she replied that she would first pay off her rent for a year.
