In his FIR filed with the Noida Police, Jagdish claimed that Shazia has been given Rs. 2.65 crore already. He also claimed that the journalist Adarsh Jha
was also helping her in extorting money. His FIR read,

"Shazia Nisar, 30, has been working as an anchor in my channel since 2022. She has been blackmailing me by threatening to implicate me in a false rape case and commit suicide. She has been illegally demanding Rs 65 crore from me."
