Some Lesser Known Facts About Nicholai Sachdev
Nicholai Sachdev has been interested in art since he was two. He began collecting art pieces when he was very young.
He bought his first painting, a subtle Gaitonde abstract roller, when he was 16.
He owns an art gallery named Gallery 7 in Mumbai.

Apart from working as a gallerist, Nicholai has also been a powerlifter. He has competed in many championships including the 2021 Open Powerlifting Championship.
Nicholai not only trains his daughter Kasha, who is also a gold medalist in powerlifting, but also coaches other children.

In March 2024, he got engaged to actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in Mumbai. They had met for the first time 14 years ago but did not date then; instead, they stayed in touch as friends. They fell in love after Nicholai divorced Kavita Sachdev, a model.
In 2024, Nicholai faced criticism for his decision to marry for the second time and was also trolled for his appearance. Varalaxmi, however, addressed the criticism in an interview and mentioned that there is nothing wrong with marrying twice. She added that Nicholai was everything she had wished for. She said,
Even my father married twice; thereās nothing wrong with it as long as heās happy. Iāve seen how people talk about Nick, heās handsome in my eyes.ā
Nicholai is a fitness enthusiast and often hits the gym.
