Some Lesser Known Facts About Neha Khanna
Since a young age, Neha Khanna aspired to become a Radio Jockey; however, at the age of 15, she found her passion for journalism and decided to become a journalist.
She was the President of the Debating Society and the Literary Minister while pursuing her graduation at the Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Neha Khanna was chosen for the Hansard Research Scholars Programme in Democracy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
During her time at the London School of Economics, Neha worked with the BBC’s Parliamentary Programmes Team at Westminster. She worked on some of the most popular shows on the BBC channel including BBC Radio 4, Today in Parliament, and BBC Parliament.
While pursuing her master’s diploma at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, she got a campus placement offer of a one-month internship at NDTV.
In 2004, after working as an intern at NDTV for a month, she got a job offer from NDTV and began working as a cub reporter there.
For the next 8 years, Neha Khanna covered all the high-profile cases happening at the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court.
She worked in many different roles at NDTV including reporter, anchor, and news editor.
Neha Khanna anchored many shows for NDTV including The Buck Stops Here- Weekend Edition, the 9 PM, and 10 pm news shows.

She covered a wide range of stories on numerous topics including social, economic, political, electoral, foreign policy, health, gender and human rights.
She worked at NDTV for 13 years.
In 2017, Neha Khanna became the Senior Editor & Senior Anchor at NewsX (Direct News Private Limited).
Neha Khanna worked at NewsX for two years from March 2017 to August 2019. During her time there, she anchored the 8 pm show on weeknights and the 9 pm show on Saturdays.
At NewsX, she interviewed newsmakers, politicians, experts, analysts, and commentators.
She also worked on her own digital series on News X’s YouTube channel where she discussed the latest stories in great depth.
Neha Khanna received the Reham al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship from the United Nations and went to New York to attend it.

In 2019, Neha Khanna attended the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) fellowship where she met many Presidential candidates in the 2020 United States presidential election.

In 2020, she interviewed the Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States Anthony Faucy.
In February 2021, she began working as an Executive Editor at India Ahead and worked there till September 2022.
