Neelam Kothari is an Indian actress turned jewellery designer.
She grew up in a well-to-do family in Hong Kong.

In her school days, she was a member of Rutherford house.
Later, her family shifted from Hong Kong to Bangkok.
Neelam knows how to play the Keyboard since childhood. She was also trained in the Jazz and Ballet dance forms in childhood.
Once when Neelam was on a holiday to Mumbai, she was approached by the film director Ramesh Behl to play a role in his film âJawaaniâ (1984).
Although her debut film âJawaaniâ did not perform well at the box office, Neelam was approached for films like âAndaz Pyar Kaâ (1986), âKhudgarzâ (1987), âKhatron Ke Khiladiâ (1988), âSindoorâ (1988), and âGharanaâ (1989).
She shot to fame with the film âGhar Ka Chiraazâ (1989) in which she played the role of âKiran.â
She has also appeared in the Bollywood films âAgneepathâ (1990), âIndrajeetâ (1991), âSantaanâ (1995), âKuch Kuch Hota Haiâ (1998), and âHum Saath Saath Hainâ (1999).
