• He studied acting at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama along with some well-known actors such as Ewan McGregor and David Thewlis.

  I think I may have failed at a lot of things, but the one thing I can say, and that I’m proud of, is that I am a good parent. The great lesson I got from my parents is how not to treat your children. To break that chain, even if I don’t do anything else, at least I’ve done that.”

• Andrews, in his 20’s, suffered from drug addiction and alcoholism. He worked on his health only after he moved to the United States. In an interview, while talking about how meeting his childhood idol Steve Jones at a party in the US inspired him to quit drinking, he said,

  I couldn’t really understand it and I asked him about it. I think that’s when the light bulb went on. I thought, ‘He’s sober. If he can do it then maybe I have a chance. His example was important because when people told me they were sober, I didn’t think it was possible. I thought they were lying. I don’t obsess about drink or drugs any more. It’s not an option, it’s not an issue even.”
