Some Lesser Known Facts About Natasha Diddee
Natasha Diddee was born to a half-Punjabi-half-Parsi father and a Maharashtrian mother.
In 2003, she began working as a Communication Manager at the Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi. She worked in the position till 2006.
In 2008, Natasha Diddee founded the firm Prima Property Management and worked there till 2012.
She worked as a Destination Services Counselor at IOR Global Services from 2008 to 2012.
Once, during a media conversation, she shared that she loved doing theatre in school but her mother did not want her to be an actress. Her mother knew that Natasha liked food and food-related professions, so she persuaded Natasha Diddee to become a chef.

After her first marriage, her in-laws were against her working as a chef. Natasha Diddee got separated from her husband after five years of marriage.
After that, she did a hotel management course at a renowned institution in Dadar, Mumbai.
After completing another cooking course at the Sophia Polytechnic College, she began working as a chef in the kitchens of several noted hotels, restaurants, and organisations in Mumbai.
Natasha Diddee used to work a lot and did not eat properly, which made her sick. After many checkups, she found out that perforated ulcers were developing in her stomach and were causing acute pain.
Then doctors found a dangerous lump in her stomach and had to remove her entire stomach to save her life in 2012.
After her stomach was removed by the doctors, the food that she ate dropped down from her body and was excreted within an hour. The doctors had advised her to take 8 to 10 monitored mini meals daily to provide her body with the required nutrition.
Natasha Diddee’s body was also deficient in Vitamin B; she suffered from a reduced memory retention power.
Natasha then started to focus on eating healthy. She learned about old-fashioned foods and made simple recipes. She became famous for sharing healthy recipes online.
This new phase of her life motivated her to become India’s top ‘Foodgrammer.’

In March 2015, Natasha Diddee began working as a Food Consultant at The Gutless Foodie in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

In 2017, she released her debut book Foursome.

Natasha Diddee then began posting simple and healthy recipes on social media. Many health-conscious people started following her Instagram account to follow her yam chutneys to dragon’s breath baked chicken recipes.

She liked drawing, painting, gardening, knitting, and singing in her free time.
Her story and recipes were featured in Vogue and Femina magazine in 2018.

Many popular restaurants and food brands used to invite Natasha Diddee to review their menus and create recipes for them by using their products.
She was suffering from Dumping Syndrome before her death.
Apart from being a chef, she was also a motivational speaker. Many public speaking platforms often invited her to deliver motivational speeches.
