Nandini Singh is a versatile Indian actress who has worked in the Hindi TV and film industry.
Since childhood, Singh had a keen interest in acting and fashion. She loved to wear pretty clothes and makeup.
At the age of 6, Nandini began her acting career as a child artist with the film Jumbish (1986).
She used to participate in her school’s cultural events and festivals.
In an interview, she revealed when she was in class 10th she decided to be an actress.
She said her parents had a very strange reaction to that, as there was no one in her family who was working in the film industry, and they wanted her to go into administrative services. However, after seeing her interest in acting and fashion, they allowed her to pursue her career in acting.
She started her professional career as an Air Hostess at Jet Airways.

In an interview, Nandini revealed, that when she started getting music video offers, she used to take 2-3 days off from her airline job for her shooting, as she didn’t want to quit her job until she got a good offer.
In 1993, when she bagged her first film, she decided to leave her air hostess job and become a full-time actor.
Nandini Singh did notable work in some of her films like Baa Nalle Madhuchandrake (1993) (Kannada), Lo Main Aagayaa (1994), Hanste Khelte (1994), Kuch Dil Ne Kaha (2003), Lo Main Aagayaa (2004), and Titoo MBA (2015).
Nandini once revealed that film director David Dhawan and film producer Subhash Ghai liked her performance in the music album Aryans (2002), and offered her Ek Aur Ek Gyarah (2003) opposite Govinda . The film was a blockbuster hit.

Some of her popular TV serials are Kkavyanjali (2005), Adaalat (2010), and Begusarai (2015).
Nandini Singh once said that after her role of Kesar in Star Plus TV serial became so popular that people began calling her Kesar after the serial.
In an interview, Nandini revealed that during her early years in the entertainment industry she was very introvert and limited her talks only to her co-stars.
