Nadia Chauhan was groomed from an early age by her father, Prakash Chauhan. She would spend her after-school time at the company’s Mumbai headquarters.
In her childhood, she wanted to become a veterinarian because of her love for animals.

In 2003, at the age of 17, Nadia joined the family company ‘Parle Agro’ which is the largest Indian beverage company. She started working at the position of Joint Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer of the company.
When she joined Parle Agro in 2003, the company only relied on the beverage ‘Frooti,’ which accounted for about 95% of its total revenues.

Nadia chose to lessen the company’s dependency on a single product and diversify into new areas. As part of this, she established the package water brand named ‘Baileys’, which grew to become a Rs 1,000-crore business.
In 2005, Nadia Chauhan launched India’s first sparkling apple juice named ‘Appy Fizz.’ It consists of carbonated apple juice and can be used as the basis for cocktails.

The product ‘Appy Fizz’ became a success with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 36 per cent and a market share of 99 per cent. Appy Fizz’s business grew more than Rs. 1500 Crore, as of 2023.
In 2005, Nadia Chauhan took a calculated risk and decided to change Frooti’s iconic green-coloured packaging to yellow for improved visibility and break free from its ‘kid-centric’ tag.

In 2015, Nadia Chauhan and Sajan Raj Kurup parted ways and both the companies (Parle Agro and Creativeland Asia) ended their 9-year-old partnership. The couple had 2 children together.
In the same year, Nadia re-launched the brand ‘Frooti’ with a completely different identity from its packaging and appearance to advertising and product formulation. It worked well and gave Frooti a boost in the share market.
Nadia and her now husband, Vaibhav, have known each other since long as they were in the same school. Initially, Nadia tried to pair Vaibhav up with one of her best friends.
