He got his name āNandamuri Tharaka Rama Raoā while shooting for the film āBrahmarshi Vishwamitra,ā which was directed by Sr NTR.
In childhood, he started his training in Kuchipudi dance form. He did his training in the dance form for around 11 years. He has also performed at various events like the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) and the European Telugu Association (ETA) in Manchester.
As a child actor, he portrayed lord Rama in the 1997 Telugu film āRamayanam.ā
