Muskkaan Jaferi is an Indian voice-over artist and actress. She is also a versatile singer. She is best known for being the half-sister of Indian actor Javed Jaffrey and the daughter of Jagdeep Jaffrey .
In 2016, Muskkaan Jaferi made her debut in the short drama movie Medium as Naisha.
Muskkaan Jaferi has given her voice to the Hindi character Moana in Alita-Battle Angel, Vanellope in Ralph Breaks the internet, and Nancy in Stranger Things. Muskkaan is a theatre artist, and she appeared in a theatre play titled âMother Courage and Her Childrenâ produced by Q Theatre Productions in 2017. In this play, Muskkaan Jaferi appeared along with the renowned theatre artist Arundhati Nag. In 2018, she acted in the theatre play titled âA Farming Storyâ which was directed by Faezeh Jalali.

In 2022, Muskkaan Jaferi was cast in the web series âThe Fame Game,â which was streamed on Netflix. In this web series, she played the role of Madhuri Dixitâs daughter. While shooting for the series, Muskkaan hid her identity for months from Madhuri Dixit on the sets of The Fame Game that she is the daughter of veteran Indian actor Jagdeep Jaffrey and the sister of Javed Jaffrey. Madhuri Dixit told in an interview with a media house that she was surprised to know after many months that Muskkaan was the sister of Javed Jaffrey. Madhuri said,
We were halfway through the series when I got to know and I was like, âWhy didnât you tell meâ, and she just said, âI want to be known as meâ. And that was amazing.â
Madhuri Dixit and Javed Jaffrey worked together in the thriller film 100 days in 1991. In the film, they danced together in the song Le Le Dil De De Dil.

In 2022, Muskkaan stated in a conversation with a media house that she wanted to build her own identity in the entertainment industry that was why she concealed her identity from Madhuri Dixit . Muskkaan said,
I have always looked up to my father. I have learnt a lot from him. I always wanted to do him proud but always wanted to do it myself.â
