Muneeba made her List-A cricket debut in 2014 in the Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah Women’s Cricket Championship.
In 2016, Muneeba was awarded a central contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board and was named in the category ‘D’ section.
 In December 2020, Muneeba was shortlisted as one of the Women’s Cricketers of the Year for the 2020 PCB Awards.

Muneeba scored her maiden ODI century against Ireland in 2022. She scored 107 runs and built a partnership of 221 runs with Sidra Amin, helping Pakistan reach their highest score in an ODI match of 335 runs.
In 2023, Muneeba made headlines with her century against Ireland in a T20 international match. She became the sixth batter to score a century in a Women’s T20 World Cup tournament.
