Some Lesser Known Facts About Moon Bin
Moon Bin was a South Korean singer, actor, dancer, and model, who was known for being a member of the popular K-pop boy group Astro. He was also a member of the first sub-unit of Astro, Moonbin & Sanha. In 2023, he died of allegedly committing suicide at the age of 25.
He began his modelling career in 2004 when he was introduced to the modelling world in childhood by his mother.

In 2009, he portrayed the child version of U-Know Yunho, who is a member of the South Korean male pop duo TVXQ, in the music video of the song âBalloonsâ TVXQ.
He became a trainee at Fantagio when he was studying in 5th standard. By the time he was in his middle school years, he became a full-fledged trainee at Fantagio. In 2015, he participated in the boy group project of Fantagio named iTeen.

In 2014, he played a cameo role in the South Korean TV series âForever Young.â In 2019, he appeared in the South Korean TV series âMoment of Eighteenâ in which he played the role of Jung Oh-je.
He appeared in a cameo role in many South Korean web series including âMy Romantic Some Recipeâ (2016), âIdol Feverâ (2017), âSweet Revengeâ (2017), and âNo Going Back Romanceâ (2021).
In 2016, at the age of 19, he debuted as a vocalist and main dancer in the K-pop boy group Astro with other five members named MJ, Jinjin, Rocky, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha.

In 2017, when members of Astro did a live stream on V Live, Moon Bin joked about the disbandment of Astro after five years. During the live stream, he said,

In 2020, he was cast in a lead role as Choi Woo Hyuk in the South Korean mystery romance web series âMermaid Prince: The Beginning.â
