Growing up, she was also good at co-curricular activities and learned to play the piano till she was 10 years old. Later, after her marriage, she resumed taking piano lessons.

During her school and college years, she was an academically bright student. Mira ranked #10 in Delhi University’s CATE exam in English.
While she was in college, she interned with the United Nations (UN) for a short period.

Mira met Shahid Kapoor for the first time at a Sufi concert organised at the house of a common family friend. At that time, she was 16 years old and was studying in the third year of her college.

In an interview, Mira Rajput revealed that she almost had a miscarriage when she was four months pregnant during her first pregnancy. The doctor then advised her complete bed rest, and she was admitted to the hospital for about two and a half months.
On 12 June 2024, she launched her skincare brand Akind Beauty in collaboration with Isha Ambani’s Tira. The brand initially offered nine skincare products including Sun Stick with SPF 50 PA+++, Sleep Tight Firming Serum, Everyday Multi-Active Serum, and Bright Idea Radiance Serum.
