Mir Sarwar is a former Kashmiri TV artist and now a Bollywood actor.
He was born and brought up in Pandrethan, Srinagar.
He started his career as a TV artist in 2007.
He has appeared in the Kashmiri TV serials like âApne Ajnabiâ, âTaj Mahalâ etc.
In 2014, he moved to Mumbai for making his career in Bollywood.
In 2015, he made his debut in the Bollywood from the movie âBajrangi Bhaijaanâ in which he played the role of âRaufâ (Shahidaâs Father).Â
Apart from Bollywood, he also worked in Kashmir-Urdu movies like âHalf Widowâ, âKashmir Dailyâ and also in Tamil movie âKaatru Veliyidaiâ.
He didnât charge a fee in order to encourage filmmaking among residents of the area in Kashmir.
He has also done several ad campaigns and modelling assignments.Â
