Before becoming a reality TV show contestant, Mike was an automotive mechatronics engineer.
Mike and Laura Morante had dated each other many times. They first started dating each other when they were together in school in Essen.
Mike reached the finals along with Chethrin Schulze and finished in third position in the reality TV show Love Island.
After breaking up with Chethrin Schulze, in the same year, Mike met with Elena Miras, a contestant on the show Love Island, and they got together. They both won the fourth season of The Summer House of the Stars – Battle of the Celebrity Couples on RTL channel in September 2019.
