His father is an author who has won many awards for his literary works.
In September 2006, Michael Polansky began working as an Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates. He worked in the position till September 2009.
From September 2009 to December 2023, he served as a CEO at Sean Parker Family Office. In January 2024, he was promoted to the position of Special Advisor in the same company.
In January 2010, Michael Polansky co-founded The Parker Foundation with Sean Parker, the co-founder of Facebook and Napster. He served as its executive director till December 2023.
