Some Lesser Known Facts About Mehtab Singh
Mehtab used to travel around 165 kilometres from Khemkaran to Mahilpur Football Academy to learn to play football.
In the 2017–18 U18 I-League, Mehtab represented the East Bengal U18 side.
On 28 November 2017, Mehtab made his I-League debut for East Bengal FC in a 2–2 draw against Aizawl FC.

On 14 November 2018, Mehtab suffered a head injury due to a collision with his teammate during practice. He was seen with a bloody forehead and lay unconscious for some time before being rushed to the hospital where he had 18 stitches.
Mehtab was loaned to Gokulam Kerala for the rest of the 2018-19 season on 31 January 2019.
Mehtab moved to Mumbai City in 2020. He won the 2020–21 ISL League Winners Shield title with the team.
