  • Mehjabeen Shaikh, also known as Zubeena Zareen, is a Pakistani woman who is known for being the first wife of gangster Dawood Ibrahim .

  • According to some media outlets, Mehjabeen grew up in the infamous Bhendi Bazaar area of Mumbai, where Dawood Ibrahim also grew up. Her uncle, Salim Kashmiri, lives in the area.

  • Reportedly, in the 1990s, one of Dawood’s friends “Mumtaz Khan” invited him for dinner. During dinner, Dawood was attracted by the beauty of Mehjabeen, who was Mumtaz’s sister-in-law. Eventually, Dawood and Sujata started dating, and despite Mehjabeen’s father’s initial disapproval, he agreed to their marriage after learning about Dawood’s father’s respectable background as a policeman.

  • Mehjabeen Shaikh got married to Dawood Ibrahim in the 1990s, and they have four children. Her daughter, Mahrukh Ibrahim, married Junaid Miandad, son of Javed Miandad, a former Pakistani cricket player. Pakar added that Mehjabeen was the only person Dawood feared.
