Some Lesser Known Facts About Mayur Vakani
Mayur Vakani is an Indian television actor and a sculptor. He gained immense popularity for the role of Sundaral in the Hindi sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (2008).
At the age of 6, he started performing in various Gujarati theatre plays. He went on to appear in various Gujarati theatre plays.

He then played small roles in various Gujarati theatre plays.
In 2006, he acted in the Gujarati film ‘Ek Var Piyu Ne Malva Aavje.’
He came into the limelight with the 2008 Hindi TV sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ in which he played the role of Sundarlal. The serial was aired on SAB TV. In the serial, his on-screen sister Dayaben (played by Disha Vakani ) is his real sister. Even his father made an appearance in a few episodes of the TV series.

Mayur, along with his sister, Disha Vakani , has performed in various theatre plays.
He is a sculptor too. His sculpture was displayed in one of the Republic Day Parades in Delhi. He has also craved the statue of Narendra Modi wearing the suit which was auctioned for ₹4.31 crores to Surat-based businessman Laljhibai Patel.

In 2023, the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL), hired Mayur and his team to craft the largest Asiatic lion pride sculpture at Ambardi Safari Park, Khodiyar Dam, Dhari, Gujarat.

In his leisure time, he enjoys travelling and swimming.

He loves eating sweets. In an interview, he shared that in childhood, he used to empty a sweet box in one day for which his mother used to scold him.
