His father was physically abusive to his mother leading to their divorce during Mateo’s childhood.
After the divorce, his mother did various odd jobs such as house cleaning and selling empanadas, meat pies etc.
In 2018, he grew his hair to donate to his mother as she was suffering from cancer. In 2021, he donated his hair to a woman after his mother became free from cancer.
