Some Lesser Known Facts About Mario Götze
Mario Gƶtze spent a few years of his childhood in Houston, Texas, USA as his father taught at Rice University. His father later moved to the AllgƤu region in Germany and later to Dortmund as a professor at the Dortmund University of Technology.
His elder brother played football and inspired him to play football. His younger brother later also became a professional footballer.

When he was 3 years old, he started training at SC Ronsberg. At the age of 6 years, he started training at FC Eintracht Hombruch where often played with Under-11 players.

He joined the renowned German club Borussia Dortmund club at the age of 8 years and played for different age-group teams of the club.
He played for Germany Under-15 in 2007 and later for Under-16, Under-19, and Under-21 teams.
