Manasi is the daughter of famous Gujarati theatre actor, director & producer Arvind Joshi.
At the age of 16, she started working as a theatre artist and did many plays like âEni Sugandhno Dariyoâ, âTamari Nehaâ, âI ought to be in picturesâ, etc.
She featured in numerous commercial advertisements for popular brands like Hair & Care, Close-Up, Ponds, Milkmaid, Surf, Kellogs, etc.
She was the first Indian host on Star Movies who hosted the show âBol Bollywood!â
She also hosted some other shows like âEntertainment Nowâ, and âTara Rum Pum Pum.â
She got her first break as an actress with the TV serial âGaathaâ that aired on Star Plus.
She also acted in some short films like âEk Din Achanakâ, âCute Meets Loveâ, and âLove Story.â
In 1999, she won the Screen Best Actress Award for her role of Sudha in the TV serial Saaya.
