Mahesh Baghel is an Indian politician and advocate who gained widespread attention in 2023 when he was discovered to be alive after doctors had declared him deceased.
He initially worked as a lawyer at Agra Civil Court, focusing on legal cases concerning bounced cheques, divorce, family issues, criminal matters, and accident claims after which he became the President of the Greater Agra Bar Council.

In November 2014, Mahesh Baghel was sent a letter that included threats of harm to both him and his family.
In August 2023, he gained widespread attention after doctors at Pushpanjali Hospital & Research Centre, Agra, pronounced him deceased; however, upon his family’s return home with his body, he unexpectedly showed signs of life by opening his eyes and displaying slight movements.
