Magnus Pedersen grew up in Romsås, Oslo, Norway.
He started making music at a youth club in Romsås before starting his solo career in 2020.
Magnus was initially inspired by Norwegian rappers Arif and Stig Brenner aka Unge Ferrari and attempted to create similar music for a while, but it did not work out as expected.
Magnus’ TikTok account was once suspended over an unusual incident. While blow-drying his hair, the hair dryer caught fire. He jokingly thought it would make a good TikTok video, but the post ended up violating platform guidance, which led to the suspension.
Pedersen was once diagnosed with ADHD. He often credits it for helping him focus intensely on music.
Magnus does not try to make political music but some of his songs end up having a political undertone.
In an interview, Magnus once mentioned that he supports drug reform and sometimes reflects this in his music. He also recalled being searched without reason while living in Romsås.’
Magnus worked with artist MAS on the song ‘Lilla’ (2020) and with MabbiJ on the song ‘Dele I To’ (2022). Both songs became popular and highlighted his talent for mixing different music styles.
