N. T. Rama Rao Jr. (Jr. NTR) is the mega star action king of South Indian Film Industry. With his excellent acting talent, he has managed to give back to back box-office hits. 1. ‘Baadshah’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Rowdy Baadshah’

Baadshah (2013) is a Telugu action thriller film directed by Sreenu Vaitla. The film stars Jr. NTR  and Kajal Aggarwal  in the lead roles. The film received positive reviews from critics and recorded a super hit at the box-office and also dubbed into Hindi under the title ‘Rowdy Baadshah’.

Plot: Rama Rao fails to get a job with the police force due to his father’s connections with a gangster. But when his brother is killed due to the gangster, Rama Rao becomes Baadshah to oppose the gangster.

2. ‘Naaga’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Mera Kanoon’

Naaga (2003) is a Telugu action-drama film starring Jr. NTR, Sada, Jennifer Kotwal and Raghuvaran in main roles. The movie was an average grosser at the box office and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Mera Kanoon’.

Plot: Nagaraju’s father works in a court and wants his son to become a lawyer and hence struggles to educate him. But, circumstances lead Nagaraju towards politics, which eventually causes his father’s life.

3. ‘Samba’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Samba’

Samba (2004) is a Telugu action masala film directed by V.V. Vinayak. The movie stars Jr. NTR, Bhoomika Chawla , Genelia D’Souza , and Prakash Raj . It was a hit at the box-office and dubbed in Hindi with the same title ‘Samba’.

Plot: Samba and Pasupathi vie for each other’s blood due to an old family feud. Samba wishes to further his dad’s dream of making education available to one and all. However, Pasupathi stands in his way.

4. ‘Shakti’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Ek Tha Soldier’

Shakti (2011) is a Telugu historical action-fantasy film directed by Meher Ramesh starring Jr. NTR, Ileana D’Cruz  and Manjari Phadnisin the lead roles. The film features an extensive supporting cast including Sonu Sood , S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Jackie Shroff , Pooja Bedi and Prabhu Ganesan. It was an utter flop movie and dubbed in Hindi as **‘**Ek Tha Soldier’.

Plot: A rich minister’s daughter escapes from her home for a holiday. However, she is in danger from the people who are after a special sword that is also wanted by the minister.

5. ‘Dammu’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Dhammu’

Dammu (2012) is a Telugu action masala film starring Jr. NTR, Trisha Krishnan  and Karthika Nair  in the lead roles apart from Bhanupriya, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Venu Thottempudi. The film was average at the box-office and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Dhammu’.

Plot: An orphan gets adopted by a rich and powerful family looking for an heir. But the family has a dark violent past due to dispute with another rival family. What will he do when the fate of his village depends on him?

6. ‘Aadi’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Mazduron Ka Daata’

Aadi (2002) is a Telugu action film released directed by V.V. Vinayak, starring Jr. NTR in the main lead. The film was a hit and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Mazduron Ka Daata’.

Plot: Aadi Keshava Reddy, a youngster, returns to his homeland after 14 years to take revenge on Nagi Reddy who killed his family.

7. ‘Brindavanam’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘The Super Khiladi’

Brindavanam (2010) is a Telugu romantic comedy film starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu  in the lead roles while actors Kota Srinivasa Rao, Prakash Raj and Srihari play other pivotal roles. It was a hit movie and dubbed into Hindi as ‘The Super Khiladi’.

Plot: Indu asks her boyfriend Krishna to help her friend Bhumi. Krishna pretends to be Bhumi’s lover but realizes that he will need to make bigger efforts to melt the hearts of a large feuding family.

8. ‘Allari Ramudu’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Main Hoon Khuddar’

Allari Ramudu (2002) is a Telugu drama film directed by B. Gopal which starred N. T. Rama Rao Jr, Gajala, Arthi Agarwal. The film performed average at the box-office and is dubbed in Hindi as ‘Main Hoon Khuddar’.

Plot: Ramu, a servant falls for the beautiful daughter of his mistress, Chamundeshwari, who is a business tycoon. After discovering Ramu’s feelings for her daughter, Chamundeshwari tries to separate them.

9. ‘Student No.1′ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Aaj Ka Mujrim’

Student No.1 (2001) is a Telugu musical film directed by S.S. Rajamouli starring Jr NTR and Gajala. This film turned out to be a hit and was dubbed in Hindi as ‘Aaj Ka Mujrim’.

Plot: A man is sentenced to life in prison when he accidentally kills a criminal. In prison, he decides to study law and gets into a college. He has to face many challenges to complete his education.

10. ‘Simhadri’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Yamraaj Ek Faulad‘

Simhadri (2003) is a Telugu action film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars Jr. NTR, Ankitha, and Bhoomika Chawla in lead roles with Mukesh Rishi, Nassar, and Rahul Dev  portraying supporting roles. The film was a super hit and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Yamraaj Ek Faulad’.

Plot: The film revolves around Simhadri who grows up under Ram Bhupal Varma. Simhadri takes care of Indhu, who happens to be the grand-daughter of Ram Bhupal Varma. It is then revealed that Simhadri was earlier as a goon called Singamalai in Kerala who gains enmity with Bhai Saab.

11. ‘Adhurs’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Judwaa No.1’

Adhurs (2010) is a Telugu action drama film directed by V.V. Vinayak. The film stars NTR Jr. in a dual-role, and Nayantara  and Sheela as female leads. The film was a hit at the box-office. This movie dubbed in Hindi as ‘Judwaa No.1’. 

Plot: Male twins are separated at birth and live their lives in different backgrounds – until one gets abducted.

Andhrawala (2004) is a Telugu action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and has Jr NTR playing the main role. Rakshitha, Sayaji Shinde, and Rahul Dev play important roles. The film was a flop and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Barood: Man On Mission’.

Plot: A young man fights the mafia in his town for a better life to his people but this leads to chain wars between the mafia and him.

Plot: Kranti, an orphan, joins PR’s gang in order to secretly amass his wealth and use it for his orphanage. When he finds that PR has attacked Krishna, an innocent man, he decides to help him.

Temper (2015) is an Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Puri Jagannadh starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The film was a commercial success and dubbed in Hindi under the same title ‘Temper’.
