During his college days, Leo GonzĂĄlez attended television news production classes while living with his mother in Hanford, California.
From November 2012 to May 2014, Leo GonzĂĄlez worked as a volunteer at The Salvation Army, a Protestant Christian church and an international charitable organization in Eureka, California.
In November 2013, he joined CBS Television Distribution in Eureka, California, as a Master Control Operator and worked in the position till May 2014.
From May 2016 to August 2017, Leo GonzĂĄlez worked as a Program Advisor and Media Manager at Rescue Mission in Hanford, California.
He began working as a News Photographer and Editor at Univision Communications Inc. in Fresno, California, in September 2016 and worked in the position till April 2019.

A few months later, he posted a funny video about the awkward conversation between a news anchor and a field reporter on transmission delay. This video got him 5,000 followers overnight.
After that, Leo GonzĂĄlez thought to create more funny videos on behind-the-scenes topics.
According to GonzĂĄlez, he focused on the details of a topic, which helped him in writing and producing television news stories. He also used his dry humour ideas to make TikTok videos.
Leo GonzĂĄlez started creating scenes that many TikTok users could relate to. For instance, in a series of videos, he pretended to be a McDonaldâs worker placing an order at a different restaurant and then did the same for Taco Bell and Starbucks.
This series of videos got over 6 million views and earned him 600,000 followers.
Soon, his videos started getting millions of views as he mocked Walmart shoppers, frustrated teachers, target employees, and comedian George Lopez. With the success of these videos, he earned a $500 brand deal or some free food from a PR company.

After that, he began making funny duet videos with his friends.
According to him, the advertising section was initially difficult for him because many influencers did not share their secrets.
His next brand deal was from ramen cooker. Leo GonzĂĄlez earned $40, and they sent him three cookers, worth about $70.
After that, Leo GonzĂĄlez made a series of videos for a restaurant chain. However, they negotiated his rate down from $120 to $100 per video.
Later, he discovered that the client had paid $7,000 for a similar series to someone with fewer followers. He felt humiliated. However, an influencer agency began representing GonzĂĄlez.
In 2021, Leo GonzĂĄlez started charging four figures for promoting branded campaigns and was named one of TikTokâs 2021 Latinx Trailblazers.
He has created campaigns for brands like Jack in the Box, Paramount, Hulu, and La Michoacana.
Leo GonzĂĄlez has written a memoir and two television series: a talk show hosted by his main character, Junior, and a mockumentary.
