Leo Freire’s father passed away in an accident when he was a few months old.
He spent his early childhood with his maternal family in Cabinda, Angola.
At six, he was admitted to a boarding police school where he studied till he was 15.

As a child, he hosted children’s programmes on Angolan television channels.
He has diverse work experience, including hosting radio programs, acting in theatre and TV productions, serving as the Master of Ceremonies at various social events, and reporting.
He was also involved in recording the television miniseries Mister Brau (2015-2018), which aired on TV Globo.
He played one of the lead roles in the play, 4 Prisioneiras, in 2019.
