Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli is an Indian actress, theatre artist, Frisbee player, and former national-level cricketer. She has received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for the Tamil film ‘Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalum’ (2021).
While she was studying in school, she started learning gymnastics.

While she was studying in school, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli started playing cricket. She even played for India’s B national cricket team and represented her country at the national level. She had the opportunity to play in a series against the West Indies. She was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Later, she quit playing cricket. She then started her training in Ultimate Frisbee and has been actively participating in Ultimate Frisbee competitions for a few years.
She was once selling tickets for one of her theatre plays for Evam Theatre group when she was spotted by the Indian director Magizh Thirumeni, who offered her a supporting role in the Tamil film ‘Mundhinam Paartheney’ in 2010.
In 2012, she appeared in the Tamil TV series ‘Dharmayutham,’ which was aired on Star Vijay.
