Some Lesser Known Facts About Laila Faisal
Laila Faisal was born into a rich Kashmiri family from Srinagar.

While studying in school, she was a student council member from 2012 to 2017.
In December 2016, she won 3rd place in the Branding Competition organised by the Columbia Business School during the venture for all programs in entrepreneurial studies.
She got 86.6% marks in her 12th standard (Commerce with Math) examinations in 2018 and studied English, Economics, Mathematics, Painting, Business Studies, and Accountancy.
During her college studies in London, she did many short courses in fashion including Principles of Personal Fashion Styling (June 2019), Luxury Fashion Marketing (September 2021), and Fashion Design (October-November 2021).

In September 2019, she worked as an intern for The POP Group in various fashion shows such as Malan Breton, Toronto Fashion Incubator, and Rocky Star.
She also served as the secretary of the fashion society of King’s College London from 2019 to 2020 and its president from 2020 to 2021.

From July 2020 to July 2021, she was a member of the women’s help group named Girl Up Imkaan based in Delhi.
In September 2021, she started working as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at her father’s music speaker company Sound of Music.
