Some Lesser Known Facts About Kuri Prathap
Kuri Prathap became popular after appearing in a prank show titled Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu on Udaya TV. The show was the Kannada version of the prank show ‘Bakra.’ This earned him the nickname ‘Kuri Prathap.’
He has been part of more than 300 Kannada feature films.
In 2014, Kuri Prathap then appeared on a famous Kannada prank show called ‘Kuri Bond,’ which was telecasted on Udaya TV.

He has also been featured on Colors Kannada shows such as ‘Majatacis’ and ‘Big Boss’ as well as shows on Zee Kannada.
Kuri Prathap then went on to appear in many Kannada films including Mylari (2010), Auto Raja (2013), Kotigobba 2 (2016), Bharjari (2017), Shathaya Gathaya (2018), Ayogya (2018), Tulasi Krishna (2019), Paapi Chirayu (2019) and Mane Maratakkide (2019), Bill Gates (2020).

In 2019, he was nominated for the Best Comedian award at SIIMA Awards for the film Ayogya.
In 2020, he appeared as a participant in the Indian reality show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7. According to him, during his period in the show, he lost 15 kg of weight while inside the house.
