During her first marriage, she trained and worked at an interior design company.
After she got separated from her first husband, she trained at Holiday Inn to become a salesperson.
Thereafter, she worked at the airline company Alitalia as a ground staff for six months.
In 2000, she became the owner of the event company Karma Events & Entertainment. She organized over 100 stage shows in India.
On 15 August 2005, she started the Tara Charitable Trust, which helps underprivileged people by providing medical, educational, and emotional support.
Later, she became the trustee of NGO CHIP (Children in Progress) in Mumbai, which helps children by providing health and education facilities.
In 2007, she contested for an election from the Nationalist Congress Party and later worked for the Congress party.
In March 2016, she joined as an associate producer at Purple Pebble Pictures and worked until September 2017.
She opened a few restaurants with a business partner such as White – the Italian café, Zingcafe, and Magestica – The royal banquet hall in Mumbai. In 2007, she ended the partnership.
