Some Lesser Known Facts About Kshitish Date
Kshitish Date is an Indian actor, director, and writer who is well known for his work in the Marathi films.
Kshitish desired to be an actor since he was a child. He started his acting career as a theatre artist and worked for almost 8 years. He was part of Grips Theatre and many other theatres. In 2017, he acted in the play Adhure which was written and directed by Swanand Barve. He was cast opposite Anuradha Athlkekar in a lead role.
In 2015, Date acted in the short film And Buddha Smiled in which he also lent his voice as an office peon.

In 2017, Kshitish directed a Hindi play Item which was produced by 10-year-old Natak Company.
According to Kshitish, while working in the advertisement and film industry, he investigated the role of how women sell ideas and products when a product has no content to show. He said that,
I saw that, when a product is such that there is no content to show, the only thing you can come up with is a conventionally beautiful woman. After that, whatever content you show, it will sell,” he says, “One of the most critical questions for our generation is about patriarchy and gender politics”
On 27 October 2018, his Marathi theatre play named Item was displayed at the Old World Theatre Festival held at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

In 2022, Kshitish appeared in the Marathi film Dharamveer which is a biological political drama film based on the story of late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe. The film was released on ZEE5 on 13 May 2022.
