Krishna Pal played for India in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics and the 1956 Melbourne Olympics.

In April 2024, a Bollywood film āMaidaanā was released which featuredĀ Ajay Devgn Ā asĀ Syed Abdul Rahim , the coach of the Indian football team which qualified for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics.
He also represented India in the Asian Games.
Pal helped Mahun Bagan win the 1954 Calcutta League by scoring 9 goals in the league. He later helped the team win the 1955 Roverās Cup.
He remained loyal to Mohun Bagan till his retirement. He was once given a blank cheque by Bagha Shome to play for Railways and once by J.C.Guha to play for East Bengal but he refused on both occasions.
He remained a bachelor throughout his life.
He was famous for scoring many goals with headers due to which he was popularly known as Mohun Baganās forehead.
He died on 14 October 2009 due to Alzheimerās disease.
