Controversies • He blamed the makers of "Comedy Circus" show for declaring Kapil Sharma
as a winner very often in order to please Kapil so that he sticks with the show, instead of the merit of the performance. Krushna said,
The one who deserved to win should have won and this time I deserved the victory. During one of the previous seasons, they declared a tie between Kapil and me just to please him so that he sticks to the show. I have no complaints with Kapil. He is very talented and I am a huge fan of his. My differences are with the production house and I have decided that I won’t work with producer Vipul Shah or Comedy Circus again.”
He even threw the runner up trophy, in an interview he said,
Yes, I did bang the trophy on the floor. I have lost faith in the production house and I was very upset.”

• In 2016, the rumours of a rift between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek spread like fire. The rumours turned out to be true when Govinda and his wife preferred to promote the 2016 Hindi film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ on Kapil Sharma’s TV show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ aired on Sony rather than appearing on Krushna’s TV show. In an interview, when Govinda was asked about the same, he said that he was upset with one of Krushna's acts. Govinda said that Krushna has been making money by insulting others on television. GOvinda was extremely upset with the ‘Mama rakha hai.' In an interview, when Krushna was asked about the dialogue, Krushna said that he cracked a joke saying ‘Maine Govinda ko apna mama rakha hai’ (I have kept Govinda as my uncle) on my show, which did not go down well with him. The rift between the two heated up in 2018 when the wives of Govinda and Krushna had a spat over a tweet. Kashmeera had tweeted something on ‘people who dance for money.’ The comment was not well received by Govinda’s wife Sunita who considered it Govinda’s insult. Later, Krushna came into the media to clarify that the tweet was for Arti Singh (his sister) and not Govinda and his wife. Later, when Govinda was again invited as a guest at The Kapil Sharma Show, Krushna being one of the comedians on the show decided to remain absent from the sets on that day. In 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic, Krushna tried to contact Govinda, but his efforts were wasted. During an interview, Krushna shared that he was upset with Govinda because he didn’t even come over to his home to meet Krushna’s twins. Later, Govinda released a statement in the media which he had met the doctors in the hospital and was there to see Krushna's children. Govinda even said that he was upset with Krushna and Kashmera for their derogatory comments on him. He even said that he would maintain distance with them. In 2022, Krushna apologised to Govinda with teary eyes while he was invited as a guest at the YouTube podcast show of the Indian actor and comedian Maniesh Paul
. Later, in the same show, Govinda was invited and was asked to comment on Krushna’a apology. Govinda said there was no need to apologise on camera. In November 2024, Krushna gave an interview, in which he revealed that both he and Govinda had sorted out the differences between them and "buried the past." He claimed that the reconciliation took place after Krushna visited Govinda at the hospital where he was undergoing treatment for accidentally shooting himself.

My mother was a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan. And when I was born. She named me after Amitabh’s son. • He talked about his struggling days, in an interview, he said,

It is not like that, I had to struggle a lot. If the background was of any help, then I would have been launched by David Dhawan; so filmy connections do not help… it is your own struggle. My career in films did not take off well so I chose to do TV. I knew success is not easy here and I have worked hard for it. After a successful film or a TV show, the following show or film movie might fail, and one needs the courage to face failure. My uncle (Govinda) never recommended my name to anyone. He used to say, ‘If you fall in a pit, only then will you get up on your own’. Today when he sees my success, he feels very proud. I never let stardom to my head because I know people will push away a person who was famous 10 years ago to take a picture with the current star.”

  • In an interview, he talked about his poor financial condition, he said,

Asserting that he is self-respecting Krishna says, “Even when my father had to sell our flat due to financial problems, I did’nt ask help from Govinda uncle. Today, I’ve bought my own flat. When my Bhojpuri producers hinted that I should get my uncle in for a special appearance, I told them that I’d come up on my own steam rather than by exploiting my uncle.”
