Some Lesser Known Facts About Kolbi Jordan
Kolbi Jordan liked music since her childhood days. She went to Church every Sunday, where she saw her mother sing and her father playing musical instruments.
She later joined the choir at her school and also sang musicals in her town.
She was only 5 or 6 years old when she heard someone singing on TV. She later found that it was singer Patti LaBelle. She went to YouTube and watched every video the entire night.
In 2016, she sang the national anthem at her Union High School commencement.
She was a theatre student at the Union High School (UHS), Tulsa and played the Dragon in the all-school production of ‘Shrek the Musical’.

She likes singing in ‘gospel’ and ‘soulful’ genres.
She played Asaka in a 2024 Theatre Tulsa production of the musical ‘Once on This Island.’
She made headlines in 2025 when she participated in season 23 of the reality singing show American Idol, which aired on ABC.

She had auditioned around a decade ago for the show but wasn’t selected.
She received a rare Platinum ticket for singing Patti LaBelle’s song ‘Lady Marmalade’ during the first quarter break between the New England Patriots vs the Tennessee Titans on 3 November 2024. She later reached the top 10 singers.
