Kishore Nandlaskar was an Indian veteran actor who mainly worked in Marathi and Hindi films.
He grew up in different parts of Mumbai, including Lamington Road, Nagpada, and Ghatkopar.
He learned acting from his father.
Kishore began his acting career with a Marathi play titled âAmrai.â He just had one-word dialogue in the play, âBappa!.â
Nandlashkar then acted in plays like âChal Atap Jalvi,â âBhramacha Bhopala,â âPahuna,â âShriman Smt,â âBhole Dambis,â and âOne Room Kitchen.â

The last play in which he performed was âNana Karte Pyaar.â

Kishore is popular for playing comic roles in Hindi and Marathi films.
In his career, he acted in more than 40 plays, 20 TV serials, and 30 Hindi and Marathi films.
Kishore initially lived in a small house in Bhoiwada-Paral, Mumbai, with his family. Due to less space in his house, Kishore often went to a nearby temple to sleep at night. When this news came in public, the then Chief Minister of Mumbai Vilasrao Deshmukh allotted him a house in Borivali, Mumbai.
Once, he suffered shortness of breath and palpitations and had to get bypass surgery.
Nandlashkar had a grandson named Anish Nandlaskar.
He shared a great bond with his Vaastav co-star Usha Nadkarni .
Usha Nadkarni revealed during an interview that Nandlashkar was an introvert.
During an interview, Usha shared that Kishore was dealing with depression. While talking about the same in an interview, she said,
Actually, he had many personal and family problems. He had tension and worries about his personal life, and thatâs why he was staying alone. He was not staying with his family because those thoughts were making him uncomfortable.â
On 14 April 2020, Kishore was admitted to a Covid-19 Center in Thane as he was having trouble breathing after he tested positive for coronavirus. He breathed his last at around 12:30 pm on 20 April 2021.
