After having completed his Bachelorâs degree in Electronics Engineering in 1991, Ajwani began working with the âPunsumi India Limitedâ as an Ageing & Testing Engineer. He worked there until 1993.
In 1993, Ajwani started working as an International Marketing Manager with Exclusive Handicrafts, where he worked for the next one year.
Upon completing his Post Graduate Diploma from MICA, Ahmedabad, he joined Leo Burnett, a globally active American advertising company in 1997. Ajwani was with the firm for the next three years.
He then worked with the DD Sports as an anchor from the year 2000 to 2001.
In 2001, Ajwani started working as a Deputy Executive Producer with the Zee News and worked there until 2008. He anchored the show âBadi Khabarâ for the channel.
Ajwani began working with ABP News, which was formerly known as Star News, in 2008 as an anchor and stepped down in June 2016.
He quit ABP News in July 2016 and started working with IBN7, a TV18 owned Hindi news channel, as a Deputy Managing Director. The channel launched a new show âSau Baat Ki Ek Baatâ with Ajwani in just two months of his joining.
