Kim Woo-jin, also known as Woojin, is a South Korean singer and actor, who is well-known for being a former member of the highly popular South Korean boy band âStray Kids,â which is part of the record label JYP Entertainment.
It was his childhood dream to become a singer.

He trained at SM Entertainment for a year and practised alongside other trainees, some of whom later joined the South Korean boy band âNCT.â
On 11 October 2017, he changed to JYP Entertainment as a trainee. He participated in the Mnet reality survival TV show âStray Kids,â where his goal was to become a vocalist in a new boy group formed by JYP Entertainment, also known as âStray Kids.â
In the final episode of the show, the group was officially established with nine members, and they launched their pre-debut mini-album titled âMixtapeâ on 8 January 2018.
