After completing his formal education, Khurshed Batliwala decided to teach meditation instead of math to make people happy.
Soon after becoming an Art of Living teacher, he began organizing several events for Art of Living, from small roles to managing events with over 2,00,000 attendees.

In November 1991, Khurshed Batliwala began working as a director of youth initiatives by Art of Living.
In March 1992, he joined the Art of Living as a senior faculty in Bangalore, India.
