Khalid Al Ameri was born to an Emirati father and a Scottish mother.
His parents met in the UK when his father was pursuing his graduate studies. His mother once worked in an old personâs home for a year to save up for tickets to visit Abu Dhabi.
He stayed with his mother in the UAE in 1982.

Khalid Al Ameri worked as a Senior Associate at Mubadala Development Company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from January 2008 to June 2016.
In January 2015, he joined Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as a Learning and Development Manager. He worked in the position till December 2015.
