The viewers of the television reality show The Girls Next Door might have believed that Kendra Wilkinson and the other women lived a glamorous life in the Playboy Mansion, but the reality was different.
In her biography, Sliding Into Home, she described life in the Playboy Mansion as a constant struggle filled with competition with the other women and a lot of fear.
Wilkinson revealed that Hefner set a strict 9 p.m. curfew on his girlfriends, and she found it suffocating.
She also shared that Hefner demanded mandatory intimacy. She admitted in her book that to deal with those nights she had to be very drunk. She wrote,

I had to be very drunk or smoke lots of weed to survive — there was no way around it.”
Kendra Wilkinson admitted to using various drugs including crystal meth, cocaine, acid, and weed.
She also drank heavily. The first time she got drunk, at age 12, her mom took her to a juvenile centre, where some officers tried to scare her but let her go because the centre was full.
